Poles spending more time, money in cafés

According to a new report from Euromonitor International, Poles are to spend PLN 490 million (EUR 122.5 million) on coffee in 2015, 4.8 percent more than last year.

Euromonitor also estimates that in 2016, coffee retail will grow further by 5.5 percent to reach PLN 517 million, with the number of Poles regularly going to cafés also up by 2-3 percent annually over the coming years.
According to the report, Poland has 25 million regular coffee drinkers and is 19th in terms of global coffee consumption. (jb)
