Kulczyk still Poland’s richest

Jan Kulczyk, who has shares in the chemical, minerals and beer industry, remains Poland’s richest man, according to a new magazine ranking.

Wprost magazine calculates that the founder of Kulczyk Holdings is worth a cool 13 billion zloty (over 3 billion euros) and was estimated by Forbes magazine as being the 384th richest person in the world in 2013.
Second richest in Poland is Zygmunt Solorz-Zak, the owner of the Polsat broadcasting group, who owns a fortune worth 12 billion zloty, ahead of Michał Sołowow, an investor in the Synthos chemicals group, among others, and is said to be worth 7 billion zloty, or around 2 billion euros. (pg)
