The Puls Biznesu finance daily reports that 60 million of the 90 million zloty (30 million USD) compensation is already being paid off in cash following LOT and Boeing coming to agreement in December.
"The first two tranches have already been transferred," an unnamed source told the daily.
LOT, which received 400 million zloty in state aid last year ahead of restructuring and privatization, has estimated that it lost 100 million zloty due to the grounding of the two 787 Dreamliners after safety concerns. (pg)
