According to estimates of the Ministry of the Economy and the Association of Polish Banks (ZBP), about 6 billion zloty (1.46 billion euro) are still available for entrepreneurs offering innovation in business.
“Trying to secure euros from the new budget will take over a year, that's why it's important to make use of these last billions,” said chairman of ZBP Krzysztof Pietraszkiewicz in an interview with Polish Radio.
A programme of 16 conferences in cities across Poland will last until 28 June, offering insights on how best to apply for funding.
“We want to create an additional method of exchanging information [on the funding], so that these remaining funds are distributed in the most effective way, in those areas where the greatest value can be achieved,” said Economy Minister Janusz Piechocinski, honorary patron of the programme, as cited by the Polish Press Agency (PAP).
