Alternative music fest in Poland

The East of Culture – Different Sounds alternative music festival is underway in the eastern Polish city of Lublin.

The four-day festival is headlined by names such as Jamaican reggae pioneer Lee Scratch Perry, British electronic jazz/hip-hop duo The Herbaliser backed by a nine-person live band, and Poland’s classic punk-rockers Dezerter.
The festival also offers a series of debates, workshops, exhibitions, film screenings as well as a special programme for children entitled “Little Different Sounds.”
East of Culture – Different Sounds started on Thursday and runs until Sunday.
Admission is free.
