CNN lists Polish city among Europe’s top attractions

The south-western Polish city of Wrocław has been included in a list of Europe’s 17 best destinations for visitors compiled by CNN Television.

CNN praises the Polish city’s “truly superb architecture”, with its Gothic Town Hall, the university on the banks of the Odra River and the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist recommended as sites of particular interest.
Another CNN tip for visitors to Wrocław is: “Be sure to head to the Racławice Panorama, a circular painting housed in a Brutalist rotunda, which celebrates the Poles' victory over Russia in the Battle of Racławice in 1794.”
The other cities on the list, which is dubbed by CNN as "a modern-day Grand Tour", include Avignon, Lisbon, Pompeii, Athens, Salzburg, and Ephesus in Turkey.
