Where Poles plan to spend their holidays

More than four in ten Poles plan to head to the seaside for their summer holidays, according to a survey.

But 28 percent intend to spend their holidays at home, the study by debt servicing company KRUK Group found.
Of those who say they will head away, 36 percent are planning a vacation in Poland, while 13 percent are aiming to take a break in another European country, the study found.
Poles are expected to spend PLN 1,677 (USD 450, EUR 390) per person on average on their vacation this year, according to the survey.
Most are expected to take a break lasting from eight to 13 days.
The survey was carried out on June 15 and 16.
