The 20th re-enactment on Saturday was part of five-day Grunwald Day festivities featuring concerts, medieval sports events and religious services promoting Polish patriotism and history.
The Battle of Grunwald - also known as the Battle of Tannenberg - fought on 15 July 1410, was one of the greatest battles of medieval Europe.
King of Poland Władysław Jagiełło commanded an allied Polish-Lithuanian army to defeat the Teutonic Order, previously considered invincible.
It is considered to be one of the most glorious and significant military victories in Polish history.
Its annual re-enactment has become a popular tourist attraction. (vb)
