Poles prefer the smell of books and the feel of paper but are likely to choose e-books while on vacation or on public transport, a study by research agency ARC Rynek i Opinia has found, according to Puls Biznesu.

The study of 1,107 people found that about half of them had purchased at least one e-book or audiobook in the last year, the daily reported.
The paper reported that smartphones, tablets and laptops are increasingly popular, while digital literature is cheaper and more convenient than print.
But Poles still prefer traditional reading while at home, Puls Biznesu said. (vb/pk)
