The annual event is organised by Krakow's School of Art and Fashion Design, with students making creative use of recycled materials.
According to the school, “fashion can be created literally from anything. You just have to use your imagination and ingenuity.”
The three-day EKO Fashion Weekend begins on Friday, 5 February, with a range of DIY workshops held at the school's headquarters in the Podgórze district, on the southern bank of the River Vistula.
On Saturday, jewellery designer and fashion critic Michał Zaczyński will give a lecture at the school.
Sunday's Junk Fashion Show will be held at the Nowa Huta Cultural Centre, east of the old city. Special guest is London-based jewellery designer Marcin Giebułtowski.
Info in Polish can be found on the school's official website. (nh/pk)
