The sculptures come from the artist's Knights of King Arthur series, inspired by the mythical English king and his court at Camelot.
The long-term deposits have been installed in a square in front of the museum, but they will ultimately be part of a special sculpture park.
The Wroclaw branch of the National Museum now has as many as 200 works by the celebrated Polish sculptor.
Raised in a manor house in eastern Poland prior to World War II, Abakanowicz began her artistic career in the 1950s.

Her works now adorn public spaces and museums in New York, Paris, Princeton, Chicago, Zurich and Duisburg, among others both abroad and in Poland.
She is chiefly known for her eponymous 'Abakan' sculptures, which are woven from fabric according to a technique invented by the artist herself.
Meanwhile, the Wroclaw museum has also received a deposit from noted Polish artist Zbigniew Makowski (work pictured).
The deposit, which is called Inconceivable: source, mirror, winch, ring is in fact the largest work exceuted by Makowski, and it was realised from 1984-88. (nh)
