"We've been looking for a way to decorate the interior of the stadium for a long time," stadium spokesman Adam Burak told the TVN 24 news channel.
Under the auspices of the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw, a group was set up named Multicultural Art & Design Open Air (MADOA).
Five large murals are currently being created, each by a different artist. All of the participants are working for free.
"We left the matter of technique open to them, but we did impose themes, which are the stadium itself and [home football side] Slask Wroclaw."
The entire project is being carried out under the title "Silesian Dream", and one mural is intended to represent the spirit of the region.
Fans will be able to witness the results this coming Sunday, when Slask Wroclaw going head to head with Widzew Lodz. (nh)
