"This is a great honour for Poland because we will host several thousand of the most important people in the world who deal with the way the internet functions, freedom of speech on the internet, all the benefits, but also the problems that the internet brings," said Poland’s Minister of Digital Affairs, Marek Zagórski.
The Polish digital affairs ministry added that the forum brings together government officials, entrepreneurs, scientists and NGOs from around the world.
This year's Internet Governance Forum takes place in November in Berlin.
