Polish president talks business in Azerbaijan

Polish President Andrzej Duda on Friday held talks with his Azerbaijani counterpart on the extraction of natural gas from the Caspian Sea by Polish companies.

Duda met Ilham Aliyev during an official visit to Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.
Duda said he hoped a cluster of Polish firms would be set up in the Baku-Alat port duty-free zone, Poland’s state news agency PAP reported.
Duda also said he was sure that gas and crude would flow from Azerbaijan to Poland in the future, according to PAP.
During a trip by Aliyev to Warsaw in 2017, he and Duda signed security, energy, transport and transport infrastructure deals.
