The event pays special attention to this year's centenary of Poland's regained independence.
The Polish Diaspora Youth Congress will feature workshops, during which youths will share their experience of taking part in their religious communities in their home countries.
Participants will also go on excursions to the towns of Rostkowo and Pułtusk, north of Warsaw, to places associated with Poland's Stanislaus Kostka, patron saint of youths, whose 450th death anniversary will be marked on August 15.
The event will focus on building a sense of patriotism and Polish pride among people who live in various countries around the world.
The event, which ends on August 5, is the second ever of its kind after the 2016 event which preceded World Youth Days in Kraków. (vb)
