Morawiecki on Monday held talks in Warsaw with Irakli Kobakhidze, the Speaker of the Georgian Parliament.
Kobakhidze, who was on a three-day visit to Poland, discussed cooperation on economic and investment initiatives with Morawiecki.
Kobakhidze also held talks with Marek Kuchciński, the Speaker of the Sejm, the lower chamber of the Polish parliament, and Stanisław Karczewski, the Speaker of the Senate, the upper chamber.
During that meeting, Kobakhidze signed a strategic partnership agreement between the Polish and Georgian parliaments.
An Eastern Partnership summit in Brussels in November brought together the heads of state and government of EU member states and six Eastern partner countries and saw a declaration adopted mentioning the “European aspirations” of Georgia, Ukraine and Moldova but without offering them a concrete promise of future EU membership.
