Macierewicz and his Finnish counterpart met in Helsinki on Wednesday and expressed concern over the “offensive” nature of the war games, which were held in Belarus.
At Adazi, Macierewicz will hold talks with the defence ministers of Latvia, Albania, Spain, Canada, Slovenia and Italy, which together with Poland make up one of four NATO multinational battalion battle groups bolstering the alliance’s eastern flank, as per a 2016 decision. (vb)
