According to Krzysztof Szczerski, a senior adviser to Duda, the conversation with senator McCain covered US internal policy.

Szczerski also said that the senator confirmed the US’s interest in the security situation of Central and Eastern Europe, including Poland.

According to Szczerski, the meeting with Pahor covered the Slovenian president’s recent meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Szczerski said that Duda and Grabar-Kitarović discussed the Adriatic-Baltic-Black Sea summit, a joint Polish-Croatian initiative to tighten cooperation between countries in that region, planned for July in Poland.

On Saturday, Duda will meet his Ukrainian and Bulgarian counterparts. (mol/pk)
