It will join ships from Norway, the Netherlands, Britain and Denmark for two-week manoeuvres that are expected to be the most difficult this year.
Sailors will face apparent temperatures reaching minus 40 degrees C accompanied by strong winds and large waves, Polish Navy Commander Radosław Pioch told local radio.
The ships will practice detecting surface vessels and submarines, and countering attacks from the air.
